MANULI RUBBER INDUSTRIES S.P.A. has taken over Techmaflex, a French company manufacturing hydraulic hose assembly machinery.
Techmaflex, whose headquarters are in France, is the market leader for design, manufacturing and distribution of swaging and other machinery for hydraulic hoses and fittings.
Techmaflex who closed 2005 with a turnover of approximately 8,000,000 Euros, employs 40 people and has 10,000 sq. m of production facilities near Nantes (France).
The acquisition will permit the Manuli Rubber Industries Group, market leaders for the design, manufacturing and distribution of hydraulic hoses and fittings, to expand the range of products and services it offers its customers.
“This achievement,” comments Dardanio Manuli, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Manuli Rubber Industries Group, “permits us to continue in our policy to increase business in the hydraulics sector.”
Manuli Rubber Industries plans to run Techmaflex as a separate division, making the most of a well-known brand, appreciated all over the world, that has achieved significant penetration, even on Asian markets.
At the same time, a new high added value range will be developed to carry the Manuli brand with the aim of supplying a fully integrated servicefor Manuli customers.
